About the GLMAC
The Great Lakes Mission Acceleration Center (GLMAC) is an interconnected and collaborative network solving defense innovation problems in the Great Lakes Region. Located in Dayton, Ohio, the GLMAC fosters collaboration among industry, academia, and government and leveraging existing regional resources to advance science and technology innovations crucial for our nation's security.
Our Collaborators
The Great Lakes MAC is a proud partner of the MAC National Network and works regularly with the MAC IndoPacific, Pacific Northwest MAC, Southwest, MAC, and Great Plains MAC. The GLMAC was established in 2023 with the support of Parallax Advanced Research, JobsOhio, the Dayton Development Coalition, and OneDefense.
What We Do
- Coordinate Collaborative and Innovative Programs: We ensure the success of collaborative defense innovation programs across the Great Lakes Region.
- Provide Collaborative Work and Innovation Spaces: We offer physical and digital spaces for entrepreneurs, academics, and government personnel to meet, collaborate, and innovate.
- Utilize Technology: We leverage technology to evaluate government lab and university applied research for commercialization.
- Lean Organization Strategic Support: Operating as a lean entity, the Great Lakes MAC focuses on enabling entrepreneurs and innovators to rapidly transition dual-use technologies for national security use.
